[The episode starts at Dot's observatory, where Dot and Bea are observing the Chocolate Milky Way.]
Dot: The Chocolate Milky Way looks so chocolatey tonight.
Bea: [writing in a notepad.] That's not surprising. According to my calculations, since the chocolate swirl comet has crossed over the milk made nipula, there should be 52.6 percent more chocolate in the Chocolate Milky Way tonight.
Owl: [hoots and nods.]
Dot: Yum!
[Bird is sitting on Dot's telescope and looking up at the sky.]
Bird: [tweets.]
Dot: You see something, Bird? Wow! Those sparkly lights are out of this world! What could they be, Bea?
Bea: [opens her book.] Hmm, there's nothing in my book about this type of intergalactic phenomenon.
Bird: [tweets and see sparkles pass by.]
Bea: According to my calculations, sparkly lights landed...
Dot: Right behind that hill.
[The lights shine behind the hill.]
Dot: Oh my stars! Something from space has landed here in Lalaloopsy Land? I've got to see it whatever it is. [runs out the door]
Bea: [giggles and follows her out the door.]
Bird: [tweets.]
Owl: [hoots.]
[The scene cuts to Bea and Dot looking for what landed behind the hill]
Dot: That's odd. I don't see anything, but, I'm absolutely positive something landed here.
Bird: [notices something and chirps]
Dot: There's something under my foot? [picks up the object] I've never seen anything like it. It's a... uh... I don't know what it is. I'm holding something that fell form way up there.
Bea: There has to be more pieces. That was a big streak of sparkly lights.
Dot: You're right! Let's find them.
[Dot and Bea search for the objects]
Bea: [picks up the object] I found another... something.
Bird: [picks up another object and a button]
Dot: Bird, you found more things!
Bird: [chirps]
Dot: [picks up a broken button] What are all these things?
Bea: [gives Dot a pink broken acorn] I don't know. I'll go home and look in my book of unidentified things from outer space.
Dot: And I'll take these all home. [puts the objects in her blue bag] And put them on my shelf for space treasures right next to my piece of moon cheese. See you later, Bea.
[Dot and Bea go to their houses]
[The scene cuts to Dot walking back to her house]
Dot: It's been a night of stellar surprises, Bird.
[The light clicks on in Dot Starlight's rocket]
Bird: [chirping]
Dot: Yes, there certainly are lots of lights in the sky.
Bird: [chirping]
Dot: There's a light on in my rocket?
[The camera zooms to the rocket with the light on]
Dot: That's funny. I don't remember leaving the light on. [shrugs and smiles] Well, better turn it off now!
[Dot then enters her rocket and hears a crashing noise]
Bird: [chirping]
Dot: Maybe Pix E.'s pet firefly got into the cockpit.
[She then hears the crashing and metal clanking again]
Dot: Let's go see. [climbs up the ladder]
[The door creaks and Dot sees an alien Lalaloopsy on her chair]
Dot: Hello?
[Haley sees Dot]
Dot: [gasps]
Haley: Ahhhh!
[She hides behind the chair]
[Haley's alien floats by and waves at Dot]
Dot: Uh hi... Hi. I'm Dot. [The door creaks down]
Haley: Oh ma ligi come fragi.
Dot: Ooh ma ligi come fragi? What language is that?
Bird: [tweets to Dot]
Dot: You're right, Bird! Maybe she came from outer space with the sparkly lights. [runs to Haley] I'm so excited to meet you.
Haley: Oh quay, oh quay. [runs away and hides]
Dot: Wait. I want to talk.
Haley: Ooh ma ligi come fragi.
Dot: She must be scared. She must've come from so far away. And if we don't understand her, she must not understand us either.
[Dot approaches Haley]
Dot: Hi. I'm Dot Starlight. Who are you?
Haley: Haley Galaxy.
Dot: Haley?
[Haley nods]
Haley: Con dege utflem?
Dot: Okay. Now you lost me. But very nice to meet you. Maybe this'll recognize this. [shows Haley a pink acorn]
Haley: Catastink! Catastink! [grabs the acorn from Dot]
Dot: [gasps]
Haley: [puts the acorn in her mouth and eats it]
Dot: These things are food? I wonder how it tastes. [puts it in her mouth] Mm- Yuck.
[Haley grabs the acorn from Dot, giggles and eats it]
